Gurgaon, March 29 (IANS:) Two teenaged boys were Saturday mowed down by a truck of the Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon here, police said. The driver was nabbed.
The victims were identified as Praveen Kumar and Pawan Kumar, both 16.
Pawan hailed from Indrapuri in Delhi while Praveen was from Ashok Vihar area of Gurgaon.
Pawan had come to visit his cousin and gone to the Sheetla Mata temple with him.
"The duo were crushed by a over-speeding truck near the temple while crossing the road. They died on the spot," police officer Dev Charan said.
Vehicle driver Santaj Sheikh, 30, was arrested.
