BJP expels senior leader Jaswant Singh from party for six years

New Delhi, Mar 29 (PTI) : BJP on Saturday expelled senior leader Jaswant Singh from the party for six years.

Jaswant Singh is contesting as an Independent from Barmer and refused to withdraw his candidature on the last day of withdrawal today.

Party sources had earlier said Singh was likely to be expelled from the party because as per BJP constitution, any partyman contesting against official candidate is liable to be expelled.

"Jaswant Singh has exhausted all constitutional options available to the party by deciding not to withdraw from the contest," a senior leader said in New Delhi.

Meanwhile, BJP's Rajasthan state unit also said it is mulling disciplinary action against its rebel leaders, including Singh and Subhas Maharia.

BJP state president Ashok Parnami, without naming Singh or Maharia, said in Jaipur that the party's disciplinary committee would serve notices to all rebel candidates and they could be expelled from the party for six years.

"We have sought details about all such rebel candidates which will be referred to our disciplinary committee, which will take action against them as per the party rules. Rebels are expelled from the party for six years," Parnami told reporters.

Former Union ministers Singh and Maharia filed their nominations as Independent from Barmer and Sikar parliamentary constituencies, respectively, after BJP denied them tickets.

When Jaswant singh was External Affairs Minister from 1998-2002 and Finance Minister from 2002-2004, he strove to detect black money of Indians kept with a Swiss bank, which has angered RSS.
In addition, he has written two books on Partition in which he has praised Praised Jinnah. This matter has also angered RSS.
So, the final result is - denial of ticket to him from Barmer, and expelling from BJP. Earlier in 2009 also he was expelled from BJP and then taken back. It is proved beyond doubt that now the RSS is in full control of BJP and even seniors like Advani & Jaswant singh will not be given any freedom within the party.

This has got nothing to do with disrespecting seniors. This is only about those who are opposed to Modi, who are also capable of being a serious stumbling block for him. It does not matter whether the person is young or old.
In the present situation the persons opposed to Modi, who are capable of blocking him happen to be the seniors/elderly (both in age and seniority) in the party that is why there is an impression going out that the seniors/elders are being sidelined.
Believe me, don't be surprised even if Sushmaji would be sidelined in a similar manner should she start showing more resistance to Modi.
The tragedy is that not only the BJP but the masses seems to have gone blind to all other leaders. Right they seem to be able to only see Modi.
The vested interests in the Corporate world are to be blamed for this along with the section of the paid media who have danced to the tunes of their corporate masters.
    Sad day for India.

Just like Late Madhavrao Scindia of Congress, his sister Vasundhara Raje also comes from the same Scindia family of Gwalior. This Scindia royal Family was openly loyal to British Rulers, and they betrayed our Freedom Fighters during British Raj and passed on the information about the movement of Freedom fighters secretly to British Police and sided with British Administration during police atrocities on Freedom Fighters of Gwalior Province, (Our history says that all Maratha Caste Royal Families sided with British all over Maharashtra, Gujarat,& North India).
Such unpatriotic & Desha Drohi family member is today Chief Minister of Rajasthan. Even then BJP is talking about betrayal by Jaswant Singh, whose family never sided with British.

If Advani talks once again about bringing back Black Money of Businessmen like Ambani stashed in Swiss Bank, then Modi will immediately kick out Advani too. For BJP Gujarati Ambani & Adani are more important than Sindhi Advani.

Jaswanth Singh has no more work to offer from bjp to hand over terrorists to Kandahar, Afghanistan.

Secondly, If Jaswanth singh was expelled from BJP, L.K. Advani, Atel Behari Vajpayee, The ex-cabinet of BJP who have acted to hand over terrorists to Kandahar must be expelled from BJP.

    BEFORE ELECTIONS BJP IS CHELLA-PILLI.

AFTER ELECTIONS BJP IS TOTALLY KALLI-WALLI.
