No sex with Russians please, Ukrainian women told

London, March 30 (IANS): In a light-hearted campaign against Russians in the wake of Moscow's decision to annex Crimea, campaigners are now urging Ukrainian women not to have sex with Russian men.

The activists from a Ukrainian group under the leadership of Irina Rubis are selling T-shirts with the message 'Don't give it to a Russian' written on it, media reports said.

The T-shirt has a pair of hands making the shape of a vagina.

The proceeds from the sale are being donated to the Ukrainian army, Rubis, CEO of Ekonomica Communication Hub, told NBC News.

"Sex is known for being one of the most effective elements of drawing substantial attention to campaigns," Rubis was quoted as saying.

The slogan on the T-shirts is not about sex but a claim to protect our country from an aggressor, she added.

The shirts are being sold via Facebook for 250 Ukrainian hryvnia (about Rs.1,400).
