Bhubaneswar, March 30 (IANS): Two people suffocated to death Sunday while cleaning a toilet tank in Odisha's capital Bhubaneswar, police said.
The incident occurred in Jagamara area of the city when one worker went inside the tank at a private house to carry out repairs, police official Sanjib Satpathy told IANS.
When the worker found it difficult to breath and could not come out, the contractor who had engaged him also went in but he too faced the same problem. Both died due to asphyxiation, Satpathy said.
Police sent the bodies for autopsy.
