Politician befriends retd jawan’s wife on Facebook, wanted sexual favours from her

Allahabad, Apr 2 (IBN) : A politician from Allahabad befriended a retired Army jawan's wife on Facebook only to get sexual favours from her.
35-year-old wife of the retired jawan hails from West Bengal. She developed feelings for an Allahabad-based man, who claimed to be a politician. Just when she was about to disclose him that she liked him, the man proposed her on Facebook itself, reported Shrinews.

Moving a step forward from Facebook conversations, they decided to exchange numbers. As time passed by, they became closer and the man expressed his desire to meet the woman in a hotel.
The woman, who grew really serious about the relationship they shared, landed up at his house without informing only to find that he was married.

Meanwhile, not being able to find her, her husband lodged an FIR. The police officials sprung into action and got leads in the case only after they scanned her Facebook account and phone call details.
Soon, they were able to track her down. She revealed the story to them and accepted before her husband that she had committed a mistake.

According to her statement before the police, she said that the man had promised her he would get married to her. They had been in touch for the last 9 months.

However, when police interrogated him, he revealed that he was not serious about marriage with the woman and that he just wanted sexual favours from her.
