Russian lawmakers to visit Crimea


Moscow, April 2 (IANS/ITAR -TASS): A delegation of Russian lawmakers will visit Crimea and Sevastopol April 5, an official said Wednesday.

"A delegation of the State Duma (or lower house of parliament) led by Speaker Sergei Naryshkin will make a working visit to Crimea and Sevastopol," Naryshkin's spokeswoman Yevgenia Chugunova told ITAR-TASS.

The Russian legislators will meet with Sevastopol Mayor Alexei Chaly, City Council Chairman Yuri Doinikov and Chairman of Crimea's State Council Vladimir Konstantinov, she added.
