Hong Kong, Jun 16: A Hong Kong radio station was fined 140,000 Hong Kong dollars (US$18,000) yesterday after listeners were encouraged to vote for the female celebrity they would most like to indecently assault.

The Broadcasting Authority also ordered Commercial Radio to issue an apology over the poll, which drew condemnation from women’s groups who said it encouraged violence.

The poll was promoted by the ‘So Fab’ show whose hosts asked listeners, mostly teenagers, to choose who they would most like to assault from a list of 20 female Chinese stars, including singer Joey Yung and actress Kelly Chen.
