Congress hits back : India does not need "a bleeder or a pleader" as PM

New Delhi, Apr 19 (PTI) : India does not need "a bleeder or a pleader" as PM, Congress today said hitting back at BJP leaders Narendra Modi and Arun Jaitley for dubbing Prime Minister Manmohan Singh as "just a reader and not a leader".

Congress spokesperson Shashi Tharoor also questioned Jaitley's attack on Robert Vadra, son-in-law of Congress President Sonia Gandhi, and said why BJP was targeting a "private individual", who is neither a member of a political party nor a candidate in this Lok Sabha polls.  Tharoor's remark came after Jaitley posted stinging remarks on his blog against Singh and Vadra.

The BJP leader today took potshots at Singh in his blog saying the Prime Minister "walked on snow, but did not leave any footprints", a day after PMO sought to counter the perception that Singh has been weak" in his tenure, He wrote that in response to controversy created by two recently published books including the one by PM's former Media Adviser Sanjaya Baru, the PMO has clarified that in the last 10 years, the Prime Minister had delivered around 1,200 speeches. "The PMO thought that this would counter the charge that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was not a 'speaking' Prime Minister... He must be heard with attention. He must be a leader and not just a reader," Jaitley said.

Targeting Vadra he wrote, "start a business without any investment. Investment will flow as loans and advances which is a synonym for political equity. Use these loans to buy property at fraction of the market cost."

"Congratulations to Mr Robert Vadra. He has made it to the Wall Street Journal. The Vadra business model requires the research paper to be prepared by a key business analyst," Jaitley wrote.
Responding to Jaitley's charge on PM, Tharoor said, "We need a Prime Minister to be a leader and not to be a bleeder, someone who bleeds the nation rather than leading it. We do not need a bleeder or a pleader."

Congress has been using the "bleeder" terminology in an obvious reference to 2002 post-Godhara riots in Gujarat, which it has been raking up to target Modi for quite some time.

Regarding Jaitley's attack on Vadra, he said, "I am astonished that BJP such high respect for the foreign press... Vadra is a private individual and not a candidate in these elections. He said that BJP was resorting to this to counter the strong campaign by the Gandhis against him.

Asking BJP to focus on political opponents and not private individuals, he said that if any one has violated the law, legal process will naturally take place.

On Sanjay Barus' book, Tharoor said there were fundamental contradictions in it and while Baru hails the Prime Minister's qualities and virtues in UPA-I, when he was Singh's media advisor, he suddenly finds that the PM is subservient PM in UPA-II, when he was not in the PMO. "Let us not overreact to a commercially well-timed book," which he said is an "outsider's comments grafted on an insider's account" as Baru was "not an insider in 2008".

It's too late!!! Congress should have done this long back this kind of "Head On Strategy. Still time is not over .

Mr. Modi and his Team are doing a show off and a "Last Minute Attempt" to get publicity to seek sympathy from "Voters" of this country.

Just a few days back, he(Mr. Modi) said won't say sorry for Gujarat Riots but ready to be get hanged in the street if found guilty!!!

That was a "Very Good Attempt" to "Appease the Voters" on 16th April because on the next day on 17th April 121 constituencies were going for polls. Well "Planned and Timed Out strategy"

Now planning for 24th April with one more "Fresh Googly" to "Appease/Sympathize the Voters again !!!

I am loving it Mr. Modi's Marketing Strategy. (P.R Agency ka paisa vasool)

Lekin Haar Gaya Toh...(If they fail to form NDA Government @ the Center) P.R Agency ko Payment(paisa) naheen melne wala hi. Discount Offer Karna Padega!!!

Ketlo Takka!!! Amit Shah ko hi sauda karna hoga!!! because he the "Real and Ultimate Right Hand Man" of Mr. Modi Bhai's Black Money Manager of BJP.

It's forgone conclusion that UPA-III will form the stable government with the help of secular parties and third font. Clever voters are never going to give the chance to communal forces to spoil the country. The voter have given one chance to rule Karnataka. The 6 crores citizens (Except few hundred) are still repenting for it. By looting the rich ore bellery, by endless scams, by watching blue films in Vidana Saugha they have brought the shame to Karanataka as well as whole India. Nobody wants the same to be repeated at the national level. Manmohan singh has done great job in last 10 years. The whole world is still reeling under 2008 recession. But India has achieved tremendous growth and standing tall against all other nations, GDP has been Quadrupled in 10 Years.

Dr Manmohan Singh is a honourable qualified and a honest person. He never blames the opposition unnecessarily. It is UPA-2 and its mixed results of success and most with its failures. The success story of UPA-2 shot to pieces by numerous corruption cases inflation and indecisive approach of the govt. and the success is its five year term ruling foreign policy and the stabilization of the economy.

If India does not require a bleeder or pleader, let people decide and let us accept their verdict gracefully. If they accept it through ballots let us not again fight.
It is also a quest whether India requires a rapist as our future PM whose family's hand aree bleeding in blood of 1984 sikh roit.Let us also accept the court(SC) verdict about a bleeder. If Modi is a bleeder, what stops the rapists group hasitating taking strict action. Are they impotants?
