Canada, Jun 20: Ingredients – Sunny weather with a touch of cool breeze, enthusiastic people, food and drink, exciting games and prizes, earth ball, loud music, sponsored entrance fee and Tim Horton Tea.

Stir all ingredients vigorously, add a water balloon game and heave ho! with the Tug of War and you have the Perfect outing. 

The Mangalorean Association of Canada is ready with its recipe of Family Meet for Jun 24. It’s a call to the young, the seniors, families and friends to participate in their 5th Annual Family Meet at the Meadowvale Conservation Park, Area B & C. 

‘The fun starts at 11 am and ends when you are ready to drop from exhaustion,’ state the organizers.

Two generous benefactors Flavian Pinto, an investments and insurance solutions advisor with Clarica (www.clarica.com/flavian.pinto) and Raymond D'Almeida of Raitech Automation and Electric Inc. (www.raitechpower.com), with a desire to assist the community have agreed to sponsor the entrance fee for the gala gathering.

With all the entrance tickets sponsored the family gathering is all set to be a memorable day. 

Special evening tea from the Canadian Tim Horton has been sponsored by Maxim Mendes, realtor and Canadian Immigration Consultant of the Max Mendes Group (www.maxmendesgroup.com).

The volleyball rental package and game as well as a special gift have been sponsored by Ronald Mathias, realtor, Remax Realty Specialist Inc. (www.ronaldmathias.com).

The Tug of War rental is sponsored by Vijay Dante of Udupi Madras Café, Mississauga (905-277-0010) who serve mouth watering and authentic South Indian cuisine.

A humane touch to the event is the ‘Lemonade Stand’ put up by the MAC Kids. A fund raising project will channel the proceeds to 'The Toronto Humane Society', a society established to prevent cruelty to animals and receiving no aid from the government. The stand will be manned by MAC Kids between the ages of 7 and 12 and supervised by adults.

With the recipe finalized and all preparations made, the MAC family meet will be a cherishing experience with enjoyment, games, prizes, music and dance.
