New Delhi, May 5 (IANS): Global software product and solutions company Nucleus Software Exports' profit after tax (PAT) increased 80.28 percent during the fourth quarter (January-March) of 2013-14, a company statement said here Monday.
The PAT increased to Rs.18.84 crore in the last quarter from Rs.10.45 crore in the corresponding quarter of 2012-13.
“The growth in PAT is mainly because we could maintain the revenue level,” Vishnu R. Dusad, chief executive officer, Nucleus Software, told IANS.
The consolidated revenue of the company stood at Rs.87.69 crore from software products and software development services in the fourth quarter compared to Rs.73.44 crore in the corresponding quarter of 2012-13.
The company won orders for 14 product modules in this quarter. It has 150 customers across 50 countries. The company provides innovative software solutions for banks and financial organizations globally.
Talking about the dollar-rupee exchange rate and its impact on the company, he said: “It had positive impact both on our topline and bottomline.”
The company's shares were trading at Rs.212.10 at 3.35 p.m. Monday at the Bombay Stock Exchange, down 8.02 percent from their previous close.
