Three killed in Pakistan train derailment


Islamabad, May 7 (IANS): At least three people were killed and 11 others injured in a train derailment in Pakistan Wednesday.

The engine and several coaches of the Karakoram Express jumped off the track in Nawabshah district of Sindh province, Dawn online reported.

The train was travelling from Lahore to Karachi and it was not clear immediately as to what caused the accident, officials said.

The injured have been admitted to hospital.

According to an earlier report, a woman was killed and 20 people were injured in the accident.
