Landmine kills five policemen in Maharashtra


Gadchiroli (Maharashtra), May 11 (IANS): At least five policemen were killed Sunday when suspected Maoists blew up their van in the forests of Gadchiroli in Maharashtra, police said.

The incident occurred around 9.30 a.m. near Murmuri village, around 35 km from here.

According to preliminary information, several others were also injured in the blast.
