Kinnigoli, Jun 30: On account of heavy rains on Thursday night and on Friday the Shambavi river at Sankalakaria near kinnigoli is flooded.S everal houses of this area also surrounded by water.

Houses of Suresh shetty, Ashok Shetty, and Sanjeeva Shetty, at Kandige Sankalakaria and house of Ravindra Salian near Patte cross under water.

Road is blocked at Mundkur due to heavy water on the road. School children and pedestrians were literally in deep trouble.

Even though heavy rains have hit Mangalore, it is surprising to see this area is being flooded.
