New Delhi, May 15 (IANS): The national capital experienced a sunny, warm Thursday though the maximum temperature settled four notches below the season's average at 35.4 degrees Celsius. Similar weather is expected Friday, the Met Office said.
"The sky will remain cloudy through the day tomorrow (Friday). The afternoon will be sunny and warm," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 36 and 24 degrees Celsius, respectively.
Thursday morning was pleasant and the minimum temperature was recorded at 23 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average.
The maximum temperature Wednesday settled seven notches below the season's average at 32.1 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature was recorded six notches below the season's average at 19 degrees Celsius.
