Bantwal, Jul1: Kusumavati, wife of Veerappa Poojary of Barkkattodi near Beltangady has gone missing along with her 3 children from her parental house at Mittur near Vittal here from Thursday June 29.

Kusumavati is the second wife of Veerappa Poojary.  It was a month ago that Veerappa has ousted her from his house for not attending the marriage of children of his first wife.  Accordingly, Kusumavati along with her children Karunakar, Santhosh and Sumalatha had come to her parental house at Mittur.

Thereafter she had lodged a complaint with the police about the harassment by her husband.  But when her plea was not heard, she even filed a complaint with the state governor.

On Thursday Kusumavati had gone to B C Road to meet her advocate but never came back.

Now her parents have lodged a complaint with the Vittal police in this regard.
