New Delhi, Jul 4: The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has got the Right to Information Act, 2005 printed in braille for persons with visual impairment.

The braille version of the Act has been printed and published by the National Institute for Visually Handicapped working under the aegis of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.

"The Ministry believes that a majority of persons with disabilities can lead a better quality of life if they have equal opportunities and have effective access to information including rehabilitation measures,'' an official release said here.

The copies of the Act in braille version can be obtained from the National Institute for Visually Handicapped, Dehradun(Uttaranchal).
