Karkala, Jul 4: In another road tragedy on Mangalore-Bangalore highway at Matsagar near Sakleshpur here, a couple from town was killed in a Maruti car-KSRTC bus collision on Monday July 3 morning.
The deceased have been identified as Narasimha Hebbar (63) and Susheela Hebbar (55). Though more details are not yet available right now, sources said that Narasimha Hebbar was a retired official with Karnataka Bank.
On Monday they were on their way to Sakleshpur on their Maruti car when a KSRTC bus coming to Hassan rammed into their vehicle at Matsagar. As a result the couple died on the spot.
A case has been registered in the Sakleshpur town police station in this regard.
