Udupi, Jul 5: "Market Plus", a unique pension police initiated by Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) was launched her on Wednesday July 5 morning.
The launching was officially announced at a press conference here on Wednesday morning by Surendra Behera, senior divisional manager of LIC Udupi division.
The new Market Plus policy gives pension and investment benefit with option of insurance cover during the term of policy. The policy is available to individuals between 18 and 70 years of age. The minimum premium is Rs 5,000 per anum under regular scheme and Rs 10,000 under single premium.
More details regarding the policy could be availed from any LIC offices.
LIC Marketing manager K Ramanand Rao and L G Shanbhog were also present at the press conference.
