Taj group hotels host three heads of state


New Delhi, May 26 (IANS): Heads of state of Pakistan, Sri Lanka and the Maldives who attended Monday's swearing-in ceremony of Prime Minister Narendra Modi are occupying the presidential suits at two hotels owned by the Taj group in Delhi.

While Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is staying at the grand presidential suite in the Taj Mahal Hotel, Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa and Maldives President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom are putting up at the presidential suites of the Taj Palace Hotel, said a statement from the Taj group.

Sharif is accompanied by his son besides a delegation. Rajapaksa and Gayoom are also accompanied by their respective delegations, the hotel group said.
