Kundapur, Jul 8: A person who had come to visit Anegudde Temple was run over by a reversing vehicle on Friday July 7 morning.

Subrahmanya Ganiga (42), a resident of Kubhashy near here had come to visit Anegudde Temple along with his brother-in-law.  While approaching a temple, a Tata Sumo (KA 02-M-8111) which was reversing knocked Subrahmanya  down and ran over his chest.

As a result he sustained serious injuries.  Though he was rushed in to N R Acharya Hospitla at Koteshwar first and then to KMC Manipal, he died on the way.

The Kundapur police have registered a case in this regard.
