Washington, May 30 (IANS): US Vice President Joseph Biden will travel to Brazil, Colombia and the Dominican Republic next month to discuss a full range of issues, the White House said Thursday.
"In each country, the vice president will meet with key leaders to discuss the full range of bilateral, regional and global issues, " Xinhua quoted the White House as saying in a statement.
Biden will go to Brazil for the World Cup, where he will watch his country play against Ghana on June 16 in eastern port city of Natal. He then travels to Brasilia for meetings with Brazil's president and vice president.
In Colombia and the Dominican Republic, Biden will meet with their presidents, the White House said.
It said Biden will kick off his trip during the week of June 16.
