Mangalore: Ramanath Rai inaugurates land application centre

Mangalore, May 31: Akrama sakrama land application centre was inaugurated by minister Ramanath Rai here on Saturday May 31 at DC office, Mangalore.

After the inauguration Rai said, "Many people are living on government owned lands which are not authorized and they do not have title deeds for their houses. However the state government has made some changes in the land revenue law of 1966's chapter XIII A and XIII B as on March 3 2014. This amendment will help in giving title deeds to the people who have built houses on these lands."


"People should submit their details to Atalji Janasnehi Kendra's pattern 3 A. A software has been installed to accept the forms," he added.

He also said that Rs 50 should be paid with the form.

Deputy commissioner A B Ibrahim, Mangalore taluk Tahsildar Guruprasad, Sadashiv Prabhu and others were present.
