Clear day ahead in Delhi


New Delhi, June 2 (IANS): The national capital will experience a clear Monday ahead and the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 40 degrees Celsius, said the Met Office.

"The sky will remain clear today (Monday)," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.

The day's minimum temperature settled three notches below the season's average at 25 degrees Celsius.

Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 55 percent.

Sunday's maximum temperature settled at 37.8 degree Celsius, three notches below the season's average while the minimum was two notches below the average at 25.6 degrees Celsius.
