Mangalore, Jul 11: Two persons were killed in separated road accidents in Bunder and Kankanady police limits on Monday July 10.

Canara Bank employee Vithal N was knocked down by a speeding mobike near Canara Bank Balmata branch on Monday.  As a result Vithal sustained serious injuries and was admitted to a private hospital.  However, he succumbed to the injuries later.

Vithal was coming Canara Bank, Balmata branch for a training when the tragedy took place.  Bunder police have booked a case against the mobike rider in this regard.

Elsewhere at Adyar, one Shamshuddin of Manjeshwar was killed when a government bus hit his mobike from behind on Monday.

While he was coming to the city from Arkula riding his mobike, the KSRTC bus was coming to the city from Subrahmanya when the accident occurred.

Shamshuddin was thrown to the road and sustained critical injuries in his head and died.

Kankanady police have registered a case in this regard.
