Warm Monday in Delhi, Tuesday to be warmer


New Delhi, June 2 (IANS): Delhi experienced a warm Monday with the maximum temperature recorded at 39.9 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season's average. The Met office has forecast a warmer Tuesday.

"The skies will remain clear and the day warm," said an India Meteorological Department official.

The maximum and the minimum temperature is likely to hover around 41 degrees Celsius and 25 degrees Celsius.

The minimum temperature Monday settled three notches below the season's average at 25 degrees Celsius.

Sunday's maximum temperature was 37.8 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average while the minimum was two notches below the average at 25.6 degrees Celsius.
