As we offer our condolences to the bereaved members of Cardinal Lourdusamy on the demise of their dear one, especially to Fr Bosco, Fr Vincent, his nephews and other members of the family, we commend his soul to the divine mercy of God. We are indeed grateful to the Cardinal who was a great support to Bethany all through his stay in Rome. He had been instrumental in obtaining the Decree of Praise from the Holy See to our Congregation in 1970 for which Bethany will be ever grateful to him. He has also visited Bethany several times in the past. We fondly cherish his visit to us when he presided over the Platinum Jubilee celebrations of our congregation in 1996. May the dear departed rest in peace!

The creator is God. Every living creature of God should die a day early or a day later.

John 12:24 Verily, verily I say unto you, unless a grain of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.
    much fruit = eternal life).

May Cardinal Lourdusamy soul live eternally with Lord Jesus.
