Mangalore, Jul 11: Pandeshwar police stations sources said that Rs 3.94 were stolen from the suitcase of a passenger while he was on his way to the city from Bangalore on Monday July 10.

Ranganath of Bangalore was on his way to the city to admit his daughter to a private medical college in the city.  He travelled in a KSRTC Rajahamsa bus along with his wife and daughter on Sunday night.  After reaching Jyothi bus stop, they got down and went to a lodge for stay.

There he opened his suitcase and found that Rs 3.94 lac which he had brought in the suitcase were missing.  He however, does not know as when money was stolen from the suitcase.

A complaint has been filed in the Pandeshwar police station in this regard.
