Mangalore, Jul 12: Human resource is our greatest strength and we must utilize it to the optimum, said State BJP President D V Sadananda Gowda.

He was speaking after launching the adolescent health and development project at the World Population Day celebrations organised jointly by the Zilla Panchayat, District Health and Family Welfare Department, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, District Administration and Nehru Yuva Kendra in Town Hall on Tuesday Jul 11.

India’s development is sure if its human resource is well utilized. Further our strength is that majority of our population consists of youth and youth is power. However health is one area which we must focus on, said Gowda.

Commenting on the development projects in the country, Gowda said that there was no scarcity for such projects but the failure is in implementation of the projects,” he added.

The World Population Day celebrations were inaugurated by Zilla Panchayat President Mamatha D S Gatti

Deputy Commissioner M Maheshwara Rao, MLA T Shakunthala Shetty and Zilla Panchayath CEO A M Kunjappa were also present.
