Mangalore, Jul 12: Adding another engineering college to list of existing engineering colleges in DK is the Srinivas Engineering College which has been planned at Valachil.
The Srinivas Institute of Technology at Valachil, established by Srinivas Group of Institutions is all set to function from this academic year 2006-07 onwards.
The institute offers bachelor engineering degree courses in mechanical, computer science, information science, electronics and communication. Sources from the institute have informed that the admission will be made under CET, COMED-K and NRI category as prescribed by the government of Karnataka
The new engineering college is equipped with high-tech multi-media classrooms, state-of-the-art computer lab with wireless LAN, and laptop computer facility is located in 15 acres of land.
