Techie murder: BJP MP says some repercussions to Fb post 'natural'

New Delhi, Jun 5 (PTI) : BJP MP from Pune, where a techie was bludgeoned to death on Monday allegedly by members of a Hindutva outfit, today said some repercussions to the Facebook post derogatory of Shivaji and Bal Thackeray was "natural".

"What appeared on Facebook was very painful. Some amount of repercussions was natural," Anil Shirole told reporters outside Parliament.

The trigger for the attack on Shaikh Mohasin Sadiq (28) was apparently uploading of derogatory pictures of warrior king Shivaji and late Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray on Facebook by unknown persons, which also led to a protest bandh on Sunday.

At least seven persons who are said to be linked to Hindu Rashtra Sena have been arrested in this connection.

When asked for comments on the involvement of Hindu Rashtra Sena, the BJP MP said, "We will have to find out who are all involved in the matter. Police is probing".

He said Pune is a peaceable city and BJP workers are working to maintain peace in the town.

Sadiq worked in the IT department of a textile firm in Pune. He was thrashed with sticks at Bankar Colony by the accused and succumbed to his injuries during treatment at a hospital, police said.

    Dear S.M. Nawaz Kukkikatte, DubaiFriday,
Did PRABHU justified wat happened or supported MP comment on this issue.
Bro ,kindly keep your aggression or any other thoughts to yourself on 'achhe din' as already seen in Azad maidan protest time , better not to comment like this.
Such incidence has occurred in past and will happen in future if it is not controlled at the right time as like the whole world experienced on Prophet PUBH video/pic uploaded few years ago.
Politicians say wat ever needed for their benefit and normal people like us suffer ,No examples needed on these type of issues.
Most of the people here pointing out to central govt and no one is accusing state govt?
    thank you.

    Dear Mohammad Salauddeen Bantwal, Mangalore/AUH
In any violence normal people suffer .
I am not supporting for any violence here , but how come you are pointing on central govt when the state govt failed to take the needed steps to control these type of situation knowing that it will result in violence.
People here are not blind to see and verify whats going on in politics. The state govt investigation is on and culprits should punished.
Also these things happened before and it will be repeated if human fails to realize other human as the same.

    Respected Vedaasthuthi, Udupi.
i am pointing out at an ideology and was commenting on an utterly foolish statement given by an elected MP of BJP. As per the little political words i know, i believe an MP means a member of Parliament who represents his constituency irrespective of caste, creed or religion. So if a responsible MP gives such a statement with his full knowledge, i guess it reflects his party's ideologies unless the party or government distances themselves from it.
And regarding central and state government, i feel they are all the same irrespective of any party they represent. I believe politics is just money making business to them and they are least bothered about what common citizens are going through.

Mr. Prabhu , it's the same case like Pakistan flag hoisting in Sindagi by RSS thugs. and they staged a protest blaming Muslims so that they could create violence. But at the end, a Hindutva activist got caught! I mean how can somebody kill a person who was not even aware of the facebook post. and this low class MP calls it 'natural'?! bravo! If this will be the attitude of new elected govt, then we can expect really 'acche dins' ahead.

This is the worst crime one can ever imagine. The culprits should either be given the same punishment or life sentence or even death sentence. Though you cannot bring back the son for grieving parents, at least this should serve as warning to so called goons
