Gopal Anand Poojari passes away

Mumbai, June 6: A resident of Pushtikar housing society Gopal Anand Poojari (72) who was staying at a bungalow Sarala located in the western suburb of Jogeshwari died on Thursday June 5 morning at Brahmakumari hospital, Andheri (W) due to illness.

Gopal Anand Poojari was basically from Dakshina Kannada district; his ancestors were staying at Mulky and Puttur.


Gopal Poojari was a hotelier. He was the owner of Gokul bar and restaurant at Goregaon (W). He was also a social servant. He is survived by his wife Sarala G Poojari and three boys.

The funeral of the deceased was held on Thursday morning at Andheri (W) Oshivara cemetery in the presence of his family members and relatives.
