One can fall asleep at different times, at different places and in different ways.

What is sleep?

It has been defined in science as a state in which "everything simply slows down or stops".

It is a time when our bodies and brains got tired, they simply stopped working.

It is also described as a natural periodic state of rest for the mind and body, in which the eyes usually close and consciousness is completely or partially lost, so that there is a decrease in bodily movement and responsiveness to external stimuli.

During sleep the brain in humans and other mammals undergoes a characteristic cycle of brain-wave activity that includes intervals of dreaming.

Here are a few samples of blissful sleep.
