Vasai man uploads porn clip of wife to 'avenge' separation

Mumbai, Jun 6 (Mid-day) : After his wife decided to separate from him due to constant fights between them, the 25-year-old shot a video of them having sex and uploaded it on a pornographic website

In a twisted tale of ‘revenge’, a Vasai resident installed a hidden camera in his bedroom, filmed his wife having sex with him and uploaded the video on a porn site because she had decided to separate from him.

The Bhayander police have arrested 25-year-old Ashish Gupta after a friend of the victim’s brother came across the video and informed the brother about it.

According to the police, Gupta and the victim fell in love when they were working at a Bhayander-based firm. They decided to get married in 2012, but separated within a year as they used to fight constantly. The victim then started living at her brother’s place in Bhayander.

Senior Police Inspector Abhay Karundkar of Navghar police station in Bhayander said, “On June 2, a friend of the victim’s brother found the video when he was surfing porn sites. He informed the brother about it and also forwarded a link to the website. We registered the case and arrested Gupta from Vasai.”
Plan hatched

Investigation revealed that Gupta wanted to take revenge from his wife as she wanted to separate from him. He recorded the video and uploaded it from a cyber café in Vasai.

“Gupta has been arrested under Sections 504 (Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace) and 506 (Punishment for criminal intimidation) of the IPC and relevant sections of the IT Act,” said Karundkar. Gupta has been remanded in police custody till June 9.
