Abdullah dismayed over Lok Sabha adjournment

Srinagar, June 9 (IANS): Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Monday said adjournment of the 16th Lok Sabha on the very first day of its session proved things would remain the same despite the change of guard at the centre.

"The more things change the more they stay the same. 1st (first) working day of the 16th Lok Sabha and its adjourned for the day after protests," Omar wrote on his twitter handle.

In the Lok Sabha elections, Omar Abdullah's National Conference drew a blank. Of the six Lok Sabha seats from the state, the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) won three seats each.
