Mumbai, June 11: Thiya Samaja Mumbai has invited applications from poor students in the community for scholarships for the academic year 2014-2015.
Those who are desirous of obtaining scholarships should submit their pass marks sheet for the year 2013-14, a photograph and their complete address to the headoffice of Thiya Samaja, its working committee members or office bearers of their east or west zone offices.
President Chandrashekar R Belchada has requested to send the contributions for scholarships before Sunday June 22 to Thiya Samaj
Mumbai office, G-4, Pallavi Pant Nagar, Near Dominic school, Ghatkopar east Mumbai.
Scholarships will be distributed to the students by the donors themselves on Sunday evening June 22 at 4.30 pm.
Ayil Babu, honorary chief secretary of Thiya Samaj has requested all Thiya Samaj community members in the city to be present during the programme and make it a success.
