Mysore, July 17:  A rare incident of a Christian nun denouncing her holy mission to tie the nuptial knot with her heart-throb, was reported from Doranahalli village in K.R. Nagar taluk recently.

On July 13 at 11 am, a Yajna was performed by Vidwan Siddhaiah, Nagaraj S Pande and Atmanandaswami of Gurudev Ashram.

The rituals to reconvert Balakumari to Hinduism were performed and she was renamed as Shriratha. This was followed by wedding rituals as per the Hindu customs.
