Mangalore, Jul 17: Addressing press persons on Sunday July 16, Pramod Mutalik, state president, Rashtriya Hindu Sene, said that the Hindu Sene and Sri Ram Sene will hold a state-wide protest on Tuesday July 18, against the conversion of Hindus into Christianity at Tirupati.

Effigies of Congress president Sonia Gandhi and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Dr Y S Rajashekhar Reddy will be burnt as part of the protest, he said.

The ‘Datta Mala Abhiyana’ will also be held by the Hindu Sene, demanding the installation of Lord Dattatreya statue at Bababudangiri between October 1 and 5.  A total about 108 swamijis are expected to participate in the ritual to be held on the final day, that is, on October 5.  Along with that more than 11,000 activists of Hindu Yuva Sene too will participate in the puja.
