Panaji, Jul 18: Goa chief minister Pratapsingh Rane on Monday offered to rehabilitate the population living in state's wild life sanctuaries.
"If people want rehabilitation, we will consider their cases but we are not (not) in favour of destabilizing them from their original location," Rane said replying a question in the state legislative assembly.
BJP legislators Ramesh Tawadkar, Vinay Tendulkar and Vijay Pai Khot, on Monday brought to the notice of the house about the harassments meted out to the population living in wild life sanctuaries at the hands of forest department officials.
Rane, who is also holding a forest portfolio, said that he would look into the complaints.
