Puttur, Jul 18:
With grant being released for the construction of the Mini Vidhan Soudha here, the long-standing dream of Puttur has reached realization.

The state government has approved the proposal at an estimated cost of Rs 3 crore.

This was informed by Puttur MLA Shakuntala Shetty here on Monday, Jul 17.

It may be recalled that the MLA had promised the building at the time when she was elected as MLA.

The Mini Vidhana Soudha will help in brining all the government offices under one roof and will help the public in a great way.

A sum of Rs 1.5 crore has been released for the construction of a building for Puttur Regional Transport Office and Rs 1 crore for construction of another floor for the civil court at Puttur.
