New Delhi, Jul 20: Sania Mirza moved into the second round of USD 175,000 WTA Tour tennis event in Cincinnati, USA after her opponent retired during the second set.

The ninth seeded Indian teenager won the first set 6-1 and was leading 2-0 in the second when Alexandra Stevenson of the USA retired.

This is the first tournament for Sania since the Wimbledon Grand Slam a week ago.
