'Singham Returns' to be remade in Tamil and Telugu

Mumbai, Jun 18: Rohit Shetty directed 'Singham Returns' will be soon remade in Tamil and Telugu. 'Singham Returns' is the sequel of 2011 blockbuster 'Singham'. 'Singham' was the remake of the Tamil film 'Singham' starring Surya. 

Last year 'Singham 2' was released in Tamil. When the news of 'Singham Returns' being made was announced, everyone thought that 'Singham Returns' was the remake of Tamil film 'Singham 2'. Rohit Shetty clarified saying that 'Singham Returns' is an original film.

Rohit Shetty is the most popular director now as his last film 'Chennai Express' was a blockbuster. This has encouraged the Tamil and Telugu film producers to buy the rights 'Singham Returns'.

'Singham Returns' has Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor in lead roles.The film is jointly produced by Ajay Devgn, Rohit Shetty and Reliance Entertainment. The music is directed by Himesh Reshammiya. The movie will be released on August 15.
