Mumbai, June 20: John Abraham will rope footballers in his next home production '1911.'

'1911' is a true inspirational story of late Indian football player Sibdas Bhaduri. Sibdas Bhaduri had captained Mohun Bagan in the historic 1911 IFA shield final when they defeated the East Yorkshire Regiment to become the first Asian team to emerge victorious in the competition.

As the film is about football, many football players will be required. So John has decided to rope in real footballers.

'1911' is written by Soumik Sen, who had directed 'Gulaab Gang.' The film will be directed by Shoojit Sircar, who has already given two super hits for John Abraham Productions in the form of 'Vicky Donor' and 'Madras Cafe.' The movie is expected to go on floors in January 2015.
