Queen Elizabeth to visit 'Game of Thrones' set

London, June 20 (IANS): Queen Elizabeth along with husband Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, is all set to sail to Belfast where season 5 of the “Game of Thrones” will be filmed. The visit will be part of her tour of Ireland next week.

The information was shared through a tweet, reports people.com.

"As part of the visit to Northern Ireland The Queen and The Duke will tour the @GameOfThrones set in the Titanic quarter," the British monarchy's official Twitter account announced Wednesday.

In true Twitter fashion, the royal note was signed off with an obligatory #GoT hashtag.

As for connections to the real crown, Emilia Clarke's character, Daenerys Targaryen, is reportedly based on Queen Elizabeth I.
