Mumbai, June 21: 'Humshakals' collected Rs 12.5 crores on it's first day all over India. This is the third highest opening day collections of the year after 'Jai Ho' and 'Gunday.'
'Jai Ho' had collected Rs 17.5 crores on it's first day while 'Gunday' collected Rs 14.5 crores.
The morning shows occupancy of 'Humshakals' were low, but it picked up in the evening and night shows. The movie has received bad reviews from critics, but has not effected the box office collections.
The movie is expected to garner more during the weekend and post a healthy box office collection. 'Humshakals' stars Saif Ali Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, Ram Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, Tamannaah and Esha Gupta in the lead roles. The movie is produced by Vashu Bhagnani and directed by Sajid Khan.
