Two held for raping Ugandan woman in Delhi


New Delhi, June 21 (IANS): Two men have been arrested for raping and robbing a Ugandan woman in the national capital, police said Saturday.

The woman told police that she had come to Janakpuri District Centre in west Delhi Friday night. After meeting a friend she was on her way home towards Dabri area when two men in a car offered her a lift. When she refused, one of them pulled her inside the car.

"They took her to a house where they raped her in turns and dumped her on the roadside in Dwarka. They also took her mobile phone and purse," police said.

Police said the accused were arrested from the same area.
