New Delhi, June 25 (IANS): The Narendra Modi government, which completes a month in office Wednesday, has taken a series of major decisions. Some evoked criticism from the opposition. Here are some of the key decisions:

* Group of Ministers and Empowered Group of Ministers scrapped

* Rail passenger fare hiked by 14.2 percent; freight rates by 6.5 percent

* Special Investigation Team (SIT) to unearth unaccounted money stashed outside India

* Ministers told to prepare timetable for first 100 days

* Ten broad policy priorities spelt out

* Modi spikes moves by some BJP-ruled states to eulogize him in school textbooks 

* Government crackdown on NGOs; PMO seeks from ministries details of NGOs working with them

* Ordinance cleared to pave way for appointment of Nripendra Misra as principal secretary to the prime minister

* Government reconstitutes cabinet committees

* Circular issued to encourage use of Hindi by officials on social media platforms of the government but says it is for Hindi-speaking states.
