From Sanjay Borkar in Margao for Daijiworld News Network - Goa

Margao, Jul 25: Madhusudan Rao (32), an instructor from Institute of Railway Training at Hyderabad, died in Goa by drowning in the sea on Monday. One of his students who was with him has been admitted to the Goa medical college hospital.

Rao was down in Goa with his 40 students on study tour. They arrived in Goa on July 21. The group of 40 students and Rao had ventured in the Colva sea on Monday. Meanwhile when they were busy playing games, an undercurrent draggedRao and Sharadchandra Agarwal (25) into the sea.

The group tried to rescue both, but they could not save Rao. Later on when the Colva police came to know about incident they traced his body and fished it out. He appeared to have died on the spot.
