Three killed in Kashmir road accident


Srinagar, June 27 (IANS): Three people were killed and seven injured in a road accident in Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla district Friday, police said.

A senior police officer said the accident occurred in Uri in the north Kashmir district.

"A taxi skidded off the road and fell into a rivulet at Fojal, under police station Uri, resulting in the death of three passengers on the spot and injuries to seven other passengers," he said, adding the injured were taken to hospital.
