Mumbai, Jul 28:
In what could be another security exercise for the Mumbai Police, a post-card delivered to the Sessions Court on Wednesday says that there will be more blasts in Mumbai on Friday and the warning should not be ignored.

The areas targeted will be the Bandra Mosque on S V Road, the Haji Ali Dargah and Shaukat Ali Marg. From the postage stamp, it appears that the post-card was sent from Mugappar area in Chennai.

The post-card was addressed to the Old Secretariat, the building next to the Sessions Court, and was received in the Daily Tapal (daily post) at the court.

The sender’s name is mentioned as Balsubramanyam and his address has been given as 10/6, Violet Apartments, Mugappar, Chennai. What got the attention of the court was the line - ‘Don’t blame us if you ignore the warning and did not check’ written on the post-card.

Balsubramayam insists that this warning is no hoax and is in some way related to the railway blasts. With confidence he writes that the blasts will happen on July 28 (which is Friday) and RDX will be the substance used.

Court officials gave the post-card to the Colaba Police Station. DCP Zone I Brijesh Singh said that the police had already started verifying its authenticity and it was too early to tell if this was a prank or not.
