PVP, Dil Raju jointly acquire remake rights of 'Bangalore Days'


Chennai, July 1 (IANS): Well known producers Prasad V. Potluri of PVP Cinema and Dil Raju have jointly acquired the all Indian languages remake rights of recent Malayalam blockbuster "Bangalore Days".

The film is expected to be remade in Telugu and Tamil right away.

"Taking the tinsel world by surprise, PVP Cinema and Dil Raju have jointly acquired the remake rights of 'Bangalore Days' for all Indian languages," read a statement from PVP Cinema.

"Bangalore Days" has created a huge sensation not just in the Kerala film industry but also across the nation. Dwelling on emotions like friendship, relationship and commitment, the film has managed to tug at the heart strings of viewers across the nation.

"Bhaskar, who is popular for Telugu blockbuster 'Bommarillu', will be helming the Telugu and Tamil versions of the remake," added the statement.

Discussions are going on at a very advanced stage with three leading heroes and heroines to replicate the roles in both the Tamil and Telugu versions.
